Job Description

The NRO Project Manager oversees individual New Restaurant Openings to ensure training strategies and tactics specifically at NROs and Remodels. This individual partners with the NRO/Remodel GM/AD and ensures that all activities related to the opening or remodel are occurring at the appropriate pace & sequence to meet deadlines and to ensure the project stays within established budget . This individual will also assist in the planning and management of the NRO training process, and supports management and team member training implementation and integration at NROs and at Remodels.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 •Serve as NRO process coach to ADs, GMPs and Managers to ensure restaurants open on-time and on-budget, with a capable team.

• During an NRO or Remodel: is present on-site to provide adequate oversight of project.

• Help ADs, GMPs and Managers to navigate needs with RSC Departments and outside vendors.

• Manage NRO & Remodel Budgets to ensure overall project on target to meet financial goals & hurdles.

• Develop and supervise the implementation of Team Member Training at NROs.

• Assist in the selection and deployment of the New Restaurant Opening (NRO) Teams.

• Manage the NRO Teams at on-site during openings and remodels.

• Partners with Training Department to prepare/maintain NRO training course materials, specifically HOH NRO Training Course Materials.

• Maintains Workflow and Project Plan in order to coordinate and confirm key deadlines are met.

• Represents the Opening/Remodel team, along with GMP, on NRO Calls with corporate office and provides update on progress.

• Partners with RDs and ADs in delivery of core training programs related to New Restaurant Openings and re-training at Remodels.

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma/GED required

•At least 3-5 years of OTB Restaurant Management experience or equivalent New Restaurant Opening experience required

• Bilingual Spanish (speak, read and write) a plus

• 1-3 years’ prior experience developing budgets with demonstrated knowledge of a restaurant P&L

• Ability to travel at least 80% of the time; spending multiple days in a row on-site during projects

• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
